Veterinary EMR software for records that the vet can trust and stand behind.

FetchWise Clinic keeps each patient's medical records in the same order as the printed sheet your vets already know. A signed note is final, and every prescription shows its dose and its warnings.

A record is useful when you can trust it.

Paper files get lost, and handwriting gets guessed at. A note typed in a hurry has no weight, and a lab report in the owner's phone never reaches the file. When a case comes back months later, you start from nothing.

A clinic also has to be sure that the record says what the vet meant. If a note can be changed after it was written, nobody can rely on it, not the next vet and not the family.

What FetchWise Clinic does about it.

  • The sheet your vets know

Consult notes follow the printed sheet: Signalment, Anamnesis, Observations, Assessment and Treatment. Readings outside the species' normal range are flagged as you type.

  • Allergies where you prescribe

A patient's allergies show on the patient's own pages, where the vet prescribes, and an allergy warning asks once before the vet goes ahead.

  • Prescriptions with a dose and a check

The formulary dose for the pet's weight is proposed, and the vet uses it or writes their own. A warning appears when two medicines do not belong together. The dose comes from the formulary, never from the AI.

  • A signed note is final

Once a vet signs, the note cannot be quietly changed. It can be amended, so the record stays trustworthy for the next vet.

  • Uploaded records wait for a vet

When a pet owner uploads a record, it waits until a vet verifies it before it joins the patient's history.

  • Records that reach the family

Records you verify reach the family's FetchWise app under your clinic's name, so the family keeps what the vet wrote.

A consult with it.

  1. Open the patient's record.

History, allergies and past prescriptions are already there. The vet fills in the Signalment, Anamnesis and Observations as the consult goes, and an unusual reading is flagged as it is typed.

  2. Assess, then prescribe.

The vet writes the Assessment and the Treatment. The dose is proposed from the formulary for this pet's weight, and a warning asks once if a medicine does not belong with what the pet already takes.

  3. Sign it, and it is final.

The vet signs and the note is final. If something changes later, it is amended, not quietly rewritten. The family's copy reaches their app once verified.

Questions clinic owners ask.

What is veterinary EMR software?

EMR stands for electronic medical record. It is the software where a clinic writes, stores and signs each patient's notes, prescriptions and results instead of keeping them on paper.

Can a signed note be changed?

A signed note is final. It can be amended, but never quietly changed, so the record stays trustworthy.

What happens if the internet drops while I am typing?

Your notes are held on the computer as long as the page stays open. Keep the page open until the connection is back.

Who signs a record?

A vet checks and signs. Sage, the AI in FetchWise Clinic, reads, drafts and suggests, but nothing is final until a vet signs it.

What about records a pet owner uploads?

They wait until a vet verifies them. Once verified, they join the patient's history.

Does the family see the record?

Records you verify reach the family's FetchWise app under your clinic's name. Families choose which clinics can send them records.
